College football roster valuations reveal multi‑million dollar market for top programs

A valuation model released by College Front Office estimated the market value of the rosters of every Power 4 football program and Notre Dame for the 2026 season. The model assigns values based on on‑field projection, position importance, program strength, experience, depth‑chart role and brand reach. Quarterbacks command the highest individual valuations, with Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss priced at $6 million, tied for fifth nationally, and Arch Manning at $6.8 million. Miami head coach Mario Cristobal highlighted the resulting “NIL chaos,” noting how the public exposure of these figures underscores the massive flow of money into college football and the growing impact of name‑image‑likeness deals on the sport.
