In men’s college soccer, the UMass Minutemen secured a 1–0 shutout victory against UMass Lowell at Rudd Field. Liam Gainey scored the decisive goal in the second half following a blocked clearance by the Lowell goalkeeper. UMass goalkeeper Dean Linden preserved the lead by saving a penalty kick from Linus Musielak.
Meanwhile, Harvard University is preparing to host Providence at Jordan Field. Harvard holds a historical advantage in the series, with a 13–5 all-time record. The upcoming match follows Harvard’s recent road victory against Providence in September.
