College of Charleston Invitational concludes with women's tennis action
The College of Charleston Invitational concluded with competitive performances from several collegiate women's tennis programs.
North Florida secured 23 total wins across singles and doubles play during the two-day event. Their performance included a sweep of all six singles matches against UNC Greensboro on Friday, as well as significant victories against Coastal Carolina and the host, College of Charleston.
Coastal Carolina finished the second day of competition with an 8-7 overall record. Key performers for the Chanticleers included Aida Mitrache and Francisca Laundes, who remained undefeated in doubles play, and Sarah Clark, who finished the weekend with a 3-0 singles record. On the first day, Coastal Carolina held a 13-7 record, driven by undefeated performances from Mitrache, Clark, and Charlotte Vanstone McGrath.
