College of the Rockies appoints Dr. Meagan LaRiviere as Dean
College of the Rockies has appointed Dr. Meagan LaRiviere as the new Dean of Health and Human Services. Dr. LaRiviere brings over 20 years of experience in healthcare practice, post-secondary education, and academic leadership across Canada and internationally.
Her professional background includes serving as the Vice Dean of Health Studies at NorQuest College in Edmonton and as an Associate Dean and Associate Professor at the University of Calgary’s campus in Qatar. Dr. LaRiviere began her career as a registered nurse with clinical experience in neonatal, pediatric, and adult intensive care settings.
College President and CEO Michael Crowe noted that her expertise in academic quality, community partnerships, and program development will strengthen the institution's ability to meet community needs.
