College soccer: Saint John's and Coe College secure victories

In recent men's college soccer action, Saint John's University secured a 5-0 shutout victory against Crown. The win extended the Johnnies' shutout streak to 270 minutes. The scoring opened in the 37th minute following a red card and penalty kick, with Billy Cornett scoring the first goal. Subsequent goals were provided by Eli Ryan, Grady Monette, Lisle Cherwien, and Jacob Oliver.

Separately, Coe College earned its first win of the 2026 season with a 3-1 victory over The College of St. Scholastica. After falling behind early, Coe responded with goals from Jonah Lasselle and Christian Rybacki. Brandon Kostelny secured the win with a penalty kick early in the second half. Goalkeeper William Shaw recorded five saves during the match.
