Louisville and Wake Forest prepare for ACC football matchup

The University of Louisville and Wake Forest University are set to face each other in an ACC college football matchup at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium. Both teams enter the contest with 2-1 records. Wake Forest quarterback Gio Lopez, who was previously listed as questionable on the injury report, has been upgraded to probable and is expected to play.

In collegiate swimming, the inaugural College Swimming League (CSL) has commenced. The first match featured Indiana University, Michigan, Louisville, and Ohio State. Indiana University's men and women dominated the event, with the men's team scoring 575.5 points to secure a significant lead over second-place Louisville. Notable individual performances included Indiana's Miranda Grana, who recorded a 1:49.54 in the 200-yard backstroke.

Nike Swim has signed on as the official sponsor for the entire inaugural CSL series, covering all eight matches through the championship in November.
