More than 30 current and former collegiate players are competing in this week’s ATP Challenger Tour events across Canada, Turkey, Germany, Czechia and San Marino. The draw includes 34 collegians in main‑draw singles, with several reaching the semifinals – for example Max Dahlin (University of Michigan) and Paul Inchauspe (Princeton) among the semifinalists. Their participation is supported in part by the PIF Next Gen Accelerator program, a partnership between the ATP and the ITA that helps top college athletes transition to the professional circuit.

The impact of U.S. college tennis extends to the ATP’s top‑50 rankings, where players such as Arthur Rinderknech (Texas A&M), Brandon Nakashima (University of Virginia), Arthur Fery (Stanford) and Cameron Norrie (TCU) all earned their positions after collegiate careers.
