College volleyball results: UT Arlington and Arkansas suffer losses

In collegiate volleyball action, UT Arlington fell to North Alabama in a five-set match held in Florence, Alabama. The Mavericks dropped the first two sets 23-25 and 23-25, but rallied to win the third and fourth sets 25-23 and 25-20. North Alabama ultimately secured the victory with a 9-15 win in the fifth set, leaving UT Arlington with an 8-11 overall record and 2-5 in UAC play.

In another matchup, Arkansas lost to No. 9 Tennessee in four sets, with scores of 23-25, 25-19, 19-25, and 20-25. Despite the defeat, the Razorbacks recorded a .254 hitting efficiency. Parker Duncan led the offense with 13 kills, while freshman setter Maggie McCarroll contributed 41 assists. Arkansas moves to 9-8 on the season and 1-5 in SEC play.
