College women's soccer: Manhattan and Wagner secure victories

In recent women's college soccer action, Manhattan University secured a 3-1 victory over LIU. Sophomore Scarlett Smith led the Jaspers with two second-half goals, while newcomer Baileigh Johnson provided an early equalizer to offset an opening goal by LIU's Isabel Kyprislidis.

Separately, Wagner College earned its first win of the season by defeating Monmouth 2-1. Alana Arona scored the opening goal for the Seahawks, followed by a second-half winner from Megan Knapp. Wagner goalkeeper Abigail Marcello recorded a career-high 12 saves to secure the win.
