Bowling Green State University is set to host Tarleton State for its 2026 football season opener at Doyt Perry Stadium. In cross country, the University of Georgia women opened their season at the Covered Bridge Invite by sweeping the top five positions in the 5K race. Addison Scott led the team with a first-place finish and a personal best time of 17:22.00. The Georgia men's team secured second place overall in the 6K race, led by Ryan Olree and Conner Rutherford.
