Collegiate athletics: MIT and Rollins College report recent competition results

Collegiate athletic teams across various disciplines achieved several notable results in recent competitions.

In football, the MIT Engineers secured a 42-21 victory over the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, driven by 262 rushing yards and six touchdowns.

In sailing, the MIT sailing team competed in three regattas, including a ninth-place finish at the Savin Hill Invite. Meanwhile, Rollins College finished sixth in a 17-team field at the Women's Atlantic Coast Tournament, highlighted by race wins from Annie Samis and Adelaide Matzky.

In cross country, the No. 9 ranked MIT women's team took fourth place at the Connecticut College Invitational, with Liv Girand leading the pack in 22nd place.
