Dartmouth volleyball defeats Boston College in historic win

The Dartmouth College volleyball team secured a significant victory over Boston College, winning the match 3-1 (25-20, 25-14, 17-25, 25-20) at Leede Arena. This win marks Dartmouth’s first victory over a Power Four opponent since 2015 and their first against Boston College since 1998.

Maddie LaFata led the Big Green with a double-double, recording 14 kills, 14 digs, and four blocks. Riley Imamura also contributed 14 kills and 10 digs, while Clementine Tebbe achieved a .778 hitting efficiency with seven blocks.

Boston College’s effort was led by Audrey Ross, who recorded a match-high 17 kills, and Brooklyn Yelland, who tallied 21 digs. Despite a strong third-set performance by the Eagles, Dartmouth maintained control to close out the fourth set 25-20.
