Collegiate golf teams perform well at Jewel Invitational

Collegiate golf teams from Winona State University and Minot State University achieved notable results at the Jewel Invitational held at The Jewel Golf Club.

Winona State’s women’s team secured a seventh-place finish with a total score of 653. Megan Young led the Warriors with an individual second-place finish, recording a four-over-par score of 148. The team performance was highlighted by a strong showing on par 5s, where they averaged 5.40 strokes.

Minot State’s men’s and women’s teams both earned top-10 finishes. The men’s team placed seventh with a score of 608, led by Kasen Rostad, who tied for 12th individually. The women’s team finished tenth with a score of 681, driven by Emily Watts, who tied for 11th, and Natalie Van Dort, who tied for 16th.
