Collegiate sports: Bentley, Columbia, and Lehigh secure key victories

In collegiate soccer, the No. 17 Bentley women's soccer team defeated Daemen 6-2. Abi Hennessey led the Falcons with a hat trick, scoring in the 15th, 66th, and 69th minutes. Daemen's Mia Wright scored early to give the Wildcats a 1-0 lead, but Bentley responded quickly with goals from Hennessey and a penalty kick by Sydney DeRoche.

In the men's division, Columbia University secured a 2-0 shutout victory against Manhattan. Ethan Heyward and Stepan Kapranov provided the scoring, with Heyward capitalizing on a rebound following a corner kick. Columbia's goalkeeper, Aris Taki, recorded four saves to maintain the clean sheet.

In college football, No. 8/9 Lehigh defeated No. 16 William & Mary 44-20. Lehigh established an early 30-0 lead, fueled by a dominant rushing performance where Luke Yoder recorded 169 yards and three touchdowns. Although William & Mary outscored Lehigh in the second half, they could not overcome the initial deficit.
