Collegiate sports: Brandeis volleyball wins, Colby-Sawyer field hockey triumphs

In collegiate volleyball, Brandeis University defeated Simmons University 3-0 with set scores of 27-25, 25-17, and 25-16. Madison Haft-Abromovitch led the Judges with 16 kills and a .448 hitting percentage. Emmory Casto contributed a double-double in her collegiate debut with 10 kills and 11 digs, while Kennedy Lilly recorded seven kills and four service aces.

In collegiate field hockey, Colby-Sawyer College secured a 3-2 double overtime victory against Wellesley College. After a scoreless first quarter and a 1-0 lead for Colby-Sawyer in the second, Wellesley tied the game in the third quarter. The match was decided in double overtime when Brooke Farquhar scored the winning goal following a penalty corner.
