Collegiate tennis programs compete at ITA Central Regional

The ITA Central Regional Championship, held at the University of Nebraska, featured competitive performances from several collegiate men's tennis programs.

Memphis juniors Loan Lestir and Marko Milosavljevic reached the doubles semifinals after defeating teams from Tulsa, Oklahoma State, and Oklahoma. Their run ended with a 6-3, 7-6 (6) loss to an Oklahoma duo. Additionally, Memphis sophomores Yannic Nittmann and Lasse Rensing reached the doubles quarterfinals, while Milosavljevic reached the singles quarterfinals.

Omaha's men's tennis team also competed in the tournament. In the consolation draw, Maddox Lundell defeated Oklahoma State's Iian Hediger, and Eloi Roux defeated Creighton's Neil Saxer. In the main draw, Christian Trevey fell to Oklahoma's Luciana Emanuel Ambrogi, and the doubles pairing of Pavan Uppu and Lundell lost 8-6 to the No. 2 ranked team from Oklahoma.
