Collegiate volleyball players Emilee Hill and Abigail Schlueter receive conference honors

Emilee Hill, a senior setter for Eastern Kentucky University, has been named the United Athletic Conference Player of the Week. Hill led the Colonels to victories over South Florida and Utah State to begin the 2026 season. During a 3-1 win against Utah State, she recorded her 16th career triple-double with 15 kills, 27 assists, and 11 digs.

Abigail Schlueter, a senior libero at the University of Memphis, received American Conference weekly honorable mention honors. This is the first weekly conference recognition of Schlueter's career. During the opening weekend, she recorded 51 digs and 10 assists, currently ranking second in the conference for digs per set.
