Collegiate volleyball players receive weekly conference and national honors

Several collegiate volleyball players have received weekly honors following successful performances.

Kentucky senior libero Molly Tuozzo was named the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week. Teammates Kassie O’Brien and Brooklyn DeLeye also earned conference honors, with O’Brien named Setter of the Week and DeLeye named Offensive Player of the Week. The Wildcats achieved a 2-0 record during the week, including a victory over No. 13 Penn State at Wrigley Field.

At Louisville, sophomore Chloe Meester was named the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) National Collegiate Player of the Week. Meester also earned ACC Offensive Player of the Week honors after recording 37 kills across three matches, leading the Cardinals to wins over Dayton, No. 18 TCU, and No. 9 Texas. Additionally, setter Nayelis Cabello was named ACC co-Setter of the Week.
