Boston College field hockey secured a spot in the ACC Championship game following an overtime victory against Virginia. Maren Boyle scored the decisive goal in overtime, assisted by Klara Mueffelmann, to lead the sixth-seeded Eagles to a 2-1 win.

Virginia initially took a 1-0 lead early in the first quarter via a penalty corner from Marissa Fahning. Mueffelmann evened the score in the second quarter, and neither team could break the tie through the remainder of regulation. Boston College will face fourth-seeded Syracuse in the championship match on Friday, November 6.
