Collegiate volleyball teams compete in South Dakota tournaments

In recent collegiate volleyball tournament action, Augustana University defeated the University of Mary 3-0 in the opening match of the AU/USF Volleyball Classic. The Vikings dominated with 50 kills and a .364 hitting percentage, winning sets 25-13, 25-16, and 25-17. Holli Klettheimer led the Marauders with eight kills.

Separately, at the South Dakota Classic, Northern Iowa defeated the Air Force Academy 3-1. Despite winning the first set 25-23, the Falcons lost the subsequent sets 20-25, 17-25, and 22-25. Alysa Walker led Air Force with 15 kills and 10 digs.
