Collegiate volleyball teams secure season-opening victories

Collegiate volleyball teams Arcadia University and Susquehanna University both secured season-opening victories.

Arcadia University’s women’s volleyball team swept Bryn Mawr College in three sets with scores of 25-18, 25-16, and 25-11. Key performers for the Knights included Devon Young and Mia Beckett, who each recorded nine kills, while Kaitlyn Small contributed 17 assists.

Susquehanna University’s women’s volleyball team defeated Muhlenberg in four sets. After losing the first set 27-25, the River Hawks won the subsequent sets 25-18, 25-19, and 25-20. First-year hitter Isabella Sallie recorded 13 kills and 14 digs in her collegiate debut.
