Collegiate volleyball: Western New Mexico and Texas Wesleyan secure victories

In recent collegiate volleyball action, Western New Mexico defeated Texas Woman's University in a five-set match. After dropping the first set 25-17, the Pioneers won the next two frames to lead 2-1. However, the Mustangs secured the match with set scores of 25-17, 23-25, 19-25, 26-24, and 15-12.

In a separate matchup, Texas Wesleyan University swept Wayland Baptist University with scores of 25-19, 25-16, and 25-15. The loss moves Wayland to an 11-7 overall record and 7-3 in Sooner Athletic Conference play, while Texas Wesleyan improves to 10-8 overall and 7-3 in conference action.
