Collegiate women's soccer: Michigan and Miami University secure victories
In recent collegiate women's soccer action, the University of Michigan defeated Bowling Green State University 1-0. Elle Ervin secured the victory for the Wolverines with a header off a corner kick in the first half. Despite Bowling Green leading in total shot attempts and corner kicks, they were unable to equalize.
Separately, Miami University earned a 2-0 victory against Youngstown State University. Goals from Kayla Perfect and Katie O'Malley led the RedHawks to the win. During the match, goalkeeper Dominique Popa set a program record by recording her 24th career shutout.
