Collegiate women's soccer results: Susquehanna draws with Scranton, La Salle falls to Rhode Island

In recent women's collegiate soccer action, Susquehanna University and Scranton University played to a 1-1 draw in their Landmark Conference season opener. Scranton took an early lead in the 11th minute through Natalia Dobush, but Susquehanna equalized in the second half following a corner kick delivered by Amelia Kopp that deflected off the Scranton goalkeeper.

In a separate matchup, Rhode Island defeated La Salle University 3-2. Rhode Island established a commanding 3-0 lead in the first half with goals from Claire O'Neill, Nicolasa Jacobs, and Molly Merkel. Although La Salle attempted a second-half comeback with goals from Shiloh Moore and Alexis Garcia, they were unable to secure the equalizer despite Rhode Island playing with a player disadvantage following a red card to Natalie White.
