Collegiate women's soccer seasons begin with MTSU and TCU openers

Several collegiate women's soccer programs are set to begin their seasons on Thursday, August 13.

Middle Tennessee State University will host the Troy Trojans at Dean A. Hayes Soccer Stadium. The match marks the start of a season-long celebration of 30 years of Blue Raider Soccer. Head coach Aston Rhoden enters his 25th season leading the program following a successful 2025 campaign. The roster features 14 returners, five transfers, and 12 freshmen.

TCU will open its season on the road against No. 22 Wisconsin at the McClimon Soccer Complex. TCU enters the matchup as a highly regarded program, having been picked to finish first in the Big 12 preseason poll. The Frogs' roster includes several preseason All-Big 12 selections and All-Americans Seven Castain and Morgan Brown.
