ITA Southeast Regional Championships feature collegiate tennis competition
Various NCAA Division III women's tennis teams competed in the ITA Southeast Regional Championships held in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Christopher Newport University saw strong performances, with senior Kylie Schaefer advancing to the championship singles quarterfinals after defeating Sahana Sanjeev. The Captains also saw success in doubles, with two tandems reaching the Round of 16.
Stevens Institute of Technology participants saw mixed results, including a doubles victory by Kaylee Hobbick and Jasmine Wen before falling to Johns Hopkins. Catholic University of America's Carmen Valentino secured a singles win against Gettysburg, while the team also saw success in doubles with Ella Knox and Meaghan Laniewski.
Dickinson College athletes also competed in the tournament, with Madison Gerecke reaching the semifinals of the Blue 3 Draw after securing two wins.
