Collegiate women's volleyball: Ithaca and Seton Hall secure victories

In recent collegiate women's volleyball action, No. 11 Ithaca College defeated No. 5 MIT in four sets during the NYU Mid-September Invitational. Ithaca won the match with scores of 10-25, 25-22, 25-16, and 26-24. Despite Eileen Sadati's 17 kills for MIT, Ithaca secured a come-from-behind victory in the final set.

In the NJIT Invitational, Seton Hall defeated NJIT in five sets. After losing the first set, the Highlanders rallied to take a 2-1 lead with strong offensive performances. However, Seton Hall won the fourth set to force a fifth, eventually closing out the match 15-11 in the deciding frame. Ema Torres led NJIT with 19 kills.
