Collegiate women's volleyball: Rhode Island College and Tufts University secure victories

In collegiate women's volleyball, Rhode Island College secured a 3-2 victory over Worcester State, improving their season record to 3-0. Sarina Marines led the Anchorwomen with 18 kills and 16 digs. After dropping the first set 25-19, Rhode Island College won the subsequent sets 25-19, 23-25, 25-19, and 15-x in the deciding fifth set.

Separately, the No. 21 Tufts University women's volleyball team defeated Roger Williams University in straight sets with scores of 25-15, 25-22, and 25-19. The victory brings Tufts to a 2-2 record. Hazel Nelson and Emma Heckman each recorded 10 kills to lead the offensive effort.
