Collettivo V. A. N. presents contemporary Agamemnon myth

Bottega Culturale is presenting ‘Agamenno-Man – Il ritorno del Re’, a new production by Collettivo V. A. N. that reinterprets the myth of Agamemnon through a contemporary lens.

The performance explores the complexities of the King of Argos, focusing on his ambition and the pursuit of glory during the Trojan War. By drawing on the works of Aeschylus and Euripides, the production examines how power can transform from a tool into an obsession, and the subsequent impact of such leadership on citizens and society. The adaptation is credited to Gabriele Rametta and Pierluigi.
