Collège Jean d’Alembert begins 2026-2027 school year in Sévérac

Collège Jean d’Alembert in Sévérac has launched the 2026-2027 school year with a series of orientation activities for sixth-grade students. The ‘Ecole ouverte’ program included visits to the school and the Soulages Museum in Rodez to facilitate a smooth transition for new students.

To support student well-being and confidence, the school organized a treasure hunt in the Medieval City and individual meetings with teachers. New principal Sabine Leroux noted that the institution maintains a strong academic record, recently achieving a 94.4% success rate on the National Brevet, which is 10 points higher than the academy average. The school is also managing an increase in sixth-grade enrollment this year.
