Collin Sexton eyes Sixth Man of the Year candidacy with Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers guard Collin Sexton is emerging as a potential candidate for the NBA Sixth Man of the Year award. Analysis suggests that Sexton’s candidacy may depend heavily on the Lakers achieving at least 52 wins, as recent award winners have typically played for high-performing teams.

Sexton has addressed his development as a player, specifically focusing on improving his shooting efficiency and decision-making. After entering the league with concerns regarding his three-point shooting, Sexton has maintained a career average of 38.9% from deep. He noted that his recent training has focused on reading the game more effectively and maintaining the confidence to take the right shots.
