Collin Veijer extends Red Bull KTM Ajo contract until 2027

Dutch racer Collin Veijer has extended his contract with the Red Bull KTM Ajo team to compete in the Moto2 World Championship through 2027. The 21-year-old will begin his third consecutive season in the intermediate class next year.

Veijer has shown significant progress in the category, including securing his first Moto2 pole position and achieving podium finishes. Despite a challenging season marked by injuries—including a recent collarbone surgery following a crash at the Austrian Grand Prix—he currently holds tenth place in the championship standings with 75.5 points.

Team manager Niklas Ajo expressed confidence in Veijer’s growth, stating the rider has demonstrated the ability to move toward the front of the class. Veijer noted that the extension supports his long-term ambition of reaching the MotoGP level.
