Collina Family Converts Historic Positano Tailor Shop into Ohimà Fine‑Dining Restaurant

The Collina family of Positano has repurposed the long‑standing tailor shop La Collinetta into a new upscale restaurant called Ohimà. The conversion, carried out by siblings Luigi and Francesca Collina—children of the late Concetta Collina, who ran the workshop for decades—takes place on Via Cristoforo Colombo near Piazza dei Mulini, the former centre of the town’s cinema and commercial life.

The venture reflects a broader shift in Positano, where traditional artisanal fashion faces pressure from fast‑fashion competition and a diversifying tourist market. Ohimà aims to showcase the town’s maritime and mountain heritage through a menu led by Luigi (born 1986) and a team of local young chefs, while the interior features a curated display of sculptures, paintings, ceramics and textiles. The restaurant’s name honors Concetta, signalling a continuity of the family’s dedication to Positano’s cultural identity.
