Collingwood FC and Seattle Seahawks announce strategic partnership

Collingwood Football Club and the Seattle Seahawks have announced a strategic partnership aimed at fostering international knowledge exchange and fan engagement. The collaboration unites the Australian Rules Football club with the NFL franchise ahead of the first-ever NFL regular season game to be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

The alliance focuses on operational innovation, high performance, and cross-promotional opportunities. Through the NFL Global Markets program, the Seahawks hold marketing rights in Australia and New Zealand. This partnership allows the Seahawks to expand their brand footprint in the region while providing Collingwood with access to American sporting organizational benchmarks. The initiative includes joint activities such as flag football clinics to connect the Seahawks’ ‘12s’ fan base with Collingwood’s ‘Magpie Army’.
