Colo Colo attacker Leandro Hernández ruled out due to injury

Colo Colo forward Leandro Hernández has been ruled out of the upcoming match against Universidad de Concepción due to an injury sustained during the recent game against Palestino. Medical examinations confirmed that Hernández suffered a sprain in the fibula area of his left foot following a heavy challenge by Dilan Zúñiga.

While the injury avoided more serious bone fractures, the player has begun rehabilitation and will not be available for the match scheduled for Friday, October 30, at the Estadio Monumental.

Coach Fernando Ortiz must now adjust his attacking lineup. Potential tactical options include playing with two strikers, Javier Correa and Maximiliano Romero, supported by Lautaro Pastrán, or starting Francisco Marchant in place of Hernández. Marco Bolados is also reportedly not yet at full physical capacity for a starting role.
