Cologna Veneta: Missing 59-year-old man found alive after search

A 59-year-old man was found alive in the vegetation near Cologna Veneta following an intensive search operation. The search was initiated after his wife reported him missing when he failed to return home after visiting his elderly mother.

Authorities, including the Carabinieri, Firefighters, and Civil Protection, activated the provincial plan for missing persons. The operation utilized helicopters, canine units, and ground patrols. Rescuers located the man's vehicle left open, containing his wallet and mobile phone.

After a thorough search of the area, the man was discovered curled up in the vegetation near a high-voltage cable. He was conscious when found and was immediately transported to a hospital for medical care. Authorities plan to interview him once he has recovered to clarify the circumstances of his disappearance.
