Cologne Bonn Airport to launch new nonstop flights to Aleppo
LEAV Aviation is launching a new nonstop flight connection from Cologne Bonn Airport to Aleppo, Syria. Starting August 17, the airline will operate flights twice weekly, specifically on Mondays and Saturdays.
The service will utilize an Airbus A320-200, with a regular flight duration of approximately four hours. Thilo Schmid, Chairman of the Management Board at Cologne Bonn Airport, stated that the route provides direct travel opportunities, particularly for individuals with Syrian roots, while facilitating personal and economic exchange between North Rhine-Westphalia and Syria.
Daniel Broda, CEO of LEAV Aviation, noted that the connection restores travel options that many people have long awaited, offering the Syrian community in Germany shorter travel routes and more opportunities for personal encounters.
