Cologne Carnival 2027: Ticket sales and season preparations announced

Preparations for the 2026/2027 Cologne Carnival season are underway, with key dates announced for ticket sales and performer showcases.

The Festkomitee Kölner Karneval will open its booking portal on September 16, 2026, at 12:00 PM. This launch allows for the purchase of tickets for televised carnival sessions and grandstands for the Rosenmontag parade and various street processions. Featured musical acts for the upcoming televised sessions include Cat Ballou, Brings, Die Höhner, StadtRand, and Brassband Druckluft, alongside various speakers and dance groups.

Additionally, the Stammtisch Kölner Karnevalisten, an association representing carnival artists, will host a presentation evening on September 26 to celebrate its 75th anniversary. This event serves as a platform for musicians, speakers, and dancers to preview their programs for the upcoming session to audiences, including program designers and society representatives.
