Cologne Cathedral to offer free admission during Epiphany pilgrimage
Cologne Cathedral will offer free admission to visitors for four days from September 24 to 27. This marks the first time since the introduction of a visitation fee on July 1 that the cathedral interior will be accessible without charge during this period.
The free access coincides with the 20th annual Epiphany pilgrimage, which runs from September 23 to 27. The event features a diverse program, including a Pontifical Mass led by Archbishop Heiner Koch on September 23. Various services and activities are scheduled through Sunday, many of which conclude with a procession to the Three Kings Shrine. Specific programming is also organized for children and individuals living with dementia.
