Colombia advances digital education with first Digital Business graduates and national university award

ESIC Colombia celebrated the graduation of nine students from its inaugural Digital Business cohort, a program that blends artificial intelligence, data analytics, marketing and strategy to prepare leaders for the digital economy.

The Colombian Ministry of Education recognized the Instituto Universitario Digital de Antioquia (IU Digital) for extending higher‑education opportunities to remote municipalities. The award highlights IU Digital’s outreach to more than 500 municipalities, including locations such as Argelia, El Tambo, Cumaribo, San Andrés Island and Santa Marta, bringing public university programs to students without requiring them to leave their communities.
