Colombia arrests man for threatening First Lady Ana Lucía Pineda

Colombian authorities have arrested a man in Pereira, Risaralda, for allegedly issuing threats against First Lady Ana Lucía Pineda Aruachán and her family via Instagram. The arrest, confirmed by the Fiscalía General de la Nación, follows an investigation into intimidating messages posted from an anonymous account on October 18.

During a police raid on a residence in Pereira, officials seized a computer and a mobile phone believed to contain evidence relevant to the case. The suspect faces charges of aggravated threats and will appear before a judge to address the legality of the arrest and the formal imputation of charges.
