Colombia Attorney General reports death threats against him and family

Gregorio Eljach Pacheco, the Attorney General of Colombia, has revealed that he and his family received death threats, prompting him to avoid the central headquarters of the Procuraduría for approximately one month.

During a public appearance marking his return to the building, Eljach stated that serious and profound security measures are being implemented to address what he described as a grave danger to his integrity and that of his team. While he did not identify specific suspects or provide definitive conclusions, he suggested that the threats might involve individuals working within the entity itself.
