Colombia extends deadline for Renta Ciudadana and IVA refund payments

Prosperidad Social announced that the deadline for delivering the third cycle of Colombia's Renta Ciudadana and IVA refund transfers has been extended to 14 July. The program has reached 79.3% of its national target, benefiting more than 770,000 households.

Director Mauricio Rodríguez Amaya said the extension aims to ensure coverage nationwide and timely delivery to the most vulnerable families. Payments will continue to be made through the SuRed and SuperGiros temporary union, and beneficiaries are urged to collect funds at authorized points within the new timeframe. The agency is also rolling out a Financial Information Manager (GIF) tool that allows households to register or update bank or digital account details, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and protecting personal data.
