Colombia football team trains in Mexico as fan zone opens in Bucaramanga for 2026 World Cup

The Colombia national team held an open training session at the Atlas Academy in Guadalajara, Mexico, drawing large crowds. Star forwards James Rodríguez and Luis Díaz led the drills, scoring goals and interacting with supporters before the squad’s opening group‑stage match against Uzbekistan on 17 June in Mexico City.

At the same time, Colombian radio network Olímpica Stereo is launching an official fan zone in Bucaramanga. The venue will provide free tickets, giant screens, food areas, live DJ sets, a photo museum and autograph sessions with former national‑team legends, allowing fans to watch Colombia’s World Cup matches against Uzbekistan, DR Congo and Portugal.
