Colombia Mayor: Deadline extended to September 20 for elderly transfers
Prosperidad Social has extended the deadline for claiming the seventh cycle of Colombia Mayor monetary transfers until September 20. This extension aims to assist elderly beneficiaries who have not yet collected their funds.
As of September 13, 91% of beneficiaries had already received their resources. Approximately 241,830 elderly individuals are still eligible to claim their payments. This cycle involves a total investment of 639,643 million pesos, intended for 2,788,074 elderly people.
Beneficiaries can collect their funds at authorized SuperGiros and SuRed locations within their respective municipalities. Additionally, the program is modernizing its delivery process through the Financial Information Manager (GIF), which allowed 24,598 participants to receive incentives directly into registered bank accounts or electronic deposits during this cycle.
