Colombia opens military and police recruitment drives
Colombian security forces have launched new recruitment drives for young citizens. The National Police have opened applications for the fourth 2026 contingent of Police Auxiliaries. This program is available to men and women aged 18 to 23 across the country and will run until November 20, 2026. Participants will receive training in operational tactics, firearm handling, and legal fundamentals to support community coexistence and public safety.
Simultaneously, the National Army is seeking high school graduates to train as non-commissioned officers at the Sargento Inocencio Chincá Military School in Tolemaida. Applicants must be between 17 and 23 years old, have completed high school, possess Saber 11 test results, and be able to swim. The program offers the opportunity to pursue a technological degree alongside military training, providing benefits such as housing, food, medical care, and immediate employment upon graduation.
