Colombia probes alleged Petro-era collusion with Clan del Golfo

Audio recordings released by Colombian media suggest that former peace commissioner Danilo Rueda negotiated with the criminal organization Clan del Golfo to suspend military actions in exchange for concessions. The scandal also implicates former defense minister Iván Velásquez and alleged interference in the removal of senior military officers.
