Colombia secures eight spots in Latin American hospital rankings

Colombia has secured a prominent position in the IntelLat 2026 ranking of the best hospitals and clinics in Latin America. Out of 105 institutions evaluated across 10 countries, eight Colombian hospitals placed within the top 25 regional rankings.

The Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá achieved the third-highest score in Latin America with 85.1%, trailing only Brazil’s Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein and Argentina’s Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires.

Other notable Colombian institutions in the top 10 include the Hospital Internacional de Colombia – FCV, which ranked seventh due to strengths in safety, clinical results, and telemedicine, and the Fundación CardioInfantil – La Cardio, which ranked eighth with high marks in patient experience.
