Colombia selects first four speed skaters for 2026 World Games

The first four members of the 2026 Colombian Speed Skating National Team have been officially selected to compete in the World Championship at the 2026 World Skate Games in Asunción. The selection was based on combined results from the 200-meter and 100-meter lane trials.

The selected athletes include Gisell Alejandra Caicedo Arango, a junior world champion; Emanuel Ramos Mosquera, making his national team debut; Kollin Andrea Castro Mosquera, a ten-time world champion; and Santiago Vásquez Villarreal, a three-time world champion.

Further selections are expected to be finalized on Saturday, August 15, during the third day of the National Selective Camp held at the skating rink in Guarne.
