Colombia students selected for NTT DATA International Technology Olympiads

Four Colombian students from Bogotá and Medellín have been selected to represent the country in the global phase of the NTT DATA International Technology Olympiads. The competition, scheduled for September 2026, will be held virtually and will feature qualifiers from Europe and Latin America. The selected students are Sarahy Gómez Moreno, Diego Herreño, Felipe Franco Armesto, and Andrea Marcano.

In a related development for the regional educational sector, the Edutechnia 2026 event is taking place at Corferias in Bogotá. Running from August 26 to 28, the event brings together over 150 brands and representatives from 13 countries to discuss innovation, technology, and pedagogical transformation in education across Colombia and Latin America.
